The results of a survey on “Sports Trips”
I/ The subject of the survey
The subject of this survey is the creation of a firm which would organize sport trips to foreign countries. The consumer could make a trip doing motor sports like motocross, quad bike, off road…
So, it is necessary to know what kind of people would be interested in such a trip, if they are sportsmen or sportswomen, how old they are, do they practise a sport…
II/ The results of the survey
60% of the fifteen people who agreed to response practise sports, but only a third of these 15 people answered that they would be interested in a sports trip whereas 5 of the 9 people who practise a sport practise it during holidays. We have to notice that the most of people who would be interested in a sport trip are those who do motor sport. Those who do athletics or team sports seem not to be interested.
We also can observe that those who do motor sports already practise their sport during holidays to have fun with friends. The sports which are the most practised are the motocross, the jet ski, and the off road. The other motor sports are not yet practised by many people.
The average budget for holidays of the people who answered is around 1966€ but it is interesting to note that three of them (the oldest and the youngest) do not have any budget for their holidays. It must mean that the oldest people are retired and the youngest are students (because of the limited number of questions on the free version of Survey Monkey, I had to forego creating a question on the people’s job).
So, in conclusion, we can say that the people who would be interested in this concept of trip already set off on holiday in order to practise their sport with friends. So, this kind of trip could be interesting if it brought something new to those people like a new challenge, or a plan of the places which are to be visited.
Yamaha to complete its MT range ?
A new rumour is “riding” on the web : Yamaha would be preparing a new bike to complete its MT range, for the moment composed with the “doped” MT-01 and the “agile” MT-03.
This MT-02 would be a mid-range model equiped with a “small” motor of 900cm3.
Yamaha would be already thinking to the range of complementary equipments (with high-margin) to create in order to be able to upgrade this bike.
